We are pleased to have been retained by this two partner “high street” general practice. The practice has been established for over 120 years and has operated from its present premises since 2001. The practice is based in South West London in an area which has undergone considerable gentrification in recent years. This area of London is desirable and regarded as a trendy place to live; it is within easy commuting distance of the City whilst enjoying good rail links to Heathrow, Gatwick and the South of England.
The approximate breakdown of work type is as follows:
- Wills & Probate 40%
- Residential Conveyancing 40%
- Commercial Conveyancing 15%
- Other 5%
Gross Income c £230,000.00. Profitable. WIP is in the order of £30K-£40K.
One of the partners avails himself as consultant on terms to be negotiated; the other partner is flexible with regards consultancy, which if taken on, would be on a short-term contract. Both partners will agree to covenant not to practise in opposition to the successor firm. The successor to this firm will benefit from the existing goodwill of the practice as well as the vibrancy and affluence of the neighbourhood.
